Sam Howell mentioned a "Project 12" working tactical at some new property they've found in DeLand. Apparently HAF wasn't happy with the business arrangement with the GIA owner, who wanted a flat fee that wasn't attainable given the current scope of WW2 reenacting. He's thinking of doing it some time in December but I can't recall if a date was set or not.
Also, at the Stuart air show, we were approached by a fellow affiliated with a museum in Ft. Lauderdale area who is looking to set something up with reenactors who can do Allied air crew impressions (US, British). I gave him my contact info, and if I hear anything I'll pass it along.

To All, Just a reminder that the Zephyrhills World War II Barracks Museum is hosting a tribute to Pearl Harbor Day on Saturday, December 10th, 2011. The museum will officially be open from 1000 hours to approximately 1600 hours that day but we will have it unlocked a little earlier for those who want to arrive in advance and set up displays, vehicles, weapons, etc. There will be things for the kids to do and we will be grilling hot dogs and such outside. There will also be displays set up inside the museum, uniformed reenactors are encouraged to attend and we are looking forward to a visit by two surviving Pearl Harbor veterans. Hope you all can attend.
